What is your favorite NBA team this season? Let me guess, if you are from China, you might choose Houston Rockets or Milwaukee Bucks. If you are from Europe, your choice should be Toronto Raptors. If you are old and you are an extreme fan of a lousy team, you might select New York Knicks. If you like young and genetic players, your options might be Atlanta Hawks or Portland Trail-Blazers. Well, as a basketball fan, I like all of them though. But there is only one team I’ll spend my time praying for them to become the NBA Champion this year, the Boston Celtics.
Everyone knows how great Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen are. Everyone expects the team is going to have a fantastic season this time. Well, I realized that not only them are good, others too. Firstly, you know I like Rajon Rondo very much. As the substitution to this youngster, Eddie House is important to bring in his stability and experience. So many times in the fourth quarter games, we see Doc Rivers put Eddie House in the court to calm down the team. Did I miss out the 3-point shoots from him which bring opponent to hell?
Secondly, players in the paint. Well, it is true to say that Al Jefferson became a wolf will be a big lost to Boston this season. But what more are you expecting if you get KG, Perkins, and our big baby Glen Davis standing under the rim? This is what we called CHEMICALS! These guys make you restless in battling for the rebounds. Besides, James Posey will be coming out from no where and score like a ghost! He might not be Paul Pierce type of star, but he is really contributing to the team. That is what I like about Bonzi Wells in Houston too.
And lastly, I like Brian Scalabrine. No, we don’t expect him to score for us; he is just like another cheer leader like Mutombo. He supports the team, and somehow, he entertains us too! See, not only the Big-Three are monsters; others play their important role too. Good luck Celtics!
